Looking to capitalise the abundant front yard for entertaining and play, a young family, opted to renovate a tired kitchen and open a newly created living space onto the front of their existing home.

The result was a deck which connected the open plan living space to the existing natural landscape in the front of the home all the while paying homage to the existing structure and further connecting the home with the streetscape.
The intention was to exploit the Northern aspect for their main living spaced for natural light and comfort all year round. The project scope consisted of a kitchen refresh, living room addition, and an inclusion of an entertainment deck.
